Honda Civic San Francisco Offers: Several Top 25 Models Under $25,000

Experts and economists have been oddly quiet about the recession as of late, but the buying public knows the truth: we’re not out of the woods yet. Job market outlooks are grim at the moment, and auto sales over the course of 2009 took a pounding. It’s not that surprising that the auto industry has yet to bounce back; after all of America witnessed the brazen carelessness of Big Three execs last year, the country has a big chip on its shoulder, and rightly so. Still, we’re seeing a progression in the industry, where stubborn manufacturers have quickly begun embracing the movement away from gas as a fuel source and towards a much more economical, eco-friendly approach.
Regardless of the economy, I’m always on the lookout for new car models that are priced modestly enough for my budget. As a high school teacher, I need a car to get to school but I have to be budget-minded in making that decision. The other day, I was having lunch with a colleague, and we began discussing the Toyota recall. The media is tearing the Japanese manufacturer apart for its transgression, and my coworker explained his position. He thought that the media was quick to turn its back on a brand that had become one of its primary topics of interest from a positive perspective. And I can’t help but agree, especially when Toyota markets innovative and dependable vehicles like the Prius, Camry and Corolla.
Still, as a lifelong Toyota enthusiast, it pushed me to get out there and do a little more research, and I started at my San Francisco Civic dealer. After digging around on the internet a bit, it seemed like a good place to start. I mean, Consumer Reports, one the media’s top authorities on cars, named the Civic as one of the “Best New Vehicles under $25,000,” so there has to be some truth to thinking about the Civic as one of the more affordable dependable cars. So, from a financial perspective, it seemed to make the most sense to begin my search at a San Francisco Honda Civic dealership. And, ironically enough, it turned out to be the place I ended my search, too.
San Francisco Civic drivers know that a high fuel economy is an important feature of their driving experience. When I made it to my San Francisco Honda Civic dealer, one of the first models I took a look at was the hybrid Civic. The vehicle features Honda’s latest Integrated Motor Assist system, a combination of a 1.3-liter gas engine and a 20 horsepower electric motor to get some spectacular efficiency for budget-minders drivers. For non-hybrid models like the EX, you get a number of engine options, including a 1.8-liter four-cylinder that puts out 140 horsepower, another 1.8-liter that runs on clean-burning compressed natural gas and puts out 113 horsepower, and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that pumps out 197 horsepower.
While a new car is great, the Civic has been high quality since its inception. San Francisco used Civic dealers serve a wide base of San Francisco used Civic drivers, so check one out today.
